Exploring the grounds including trails, gardens, and nature preserve are FREE of charge.
Friends of T.C. Steele members receive a tour of the facilities free of charge and a 10% museum shop discount. We also honor AAA membership and National Trust for Historic Preservation member discounts, which reduces the tour price by $.50 and you would receive a 10% discount in the museum gift shop.
The Friends of T.C. Steeles' most visible presence at the historic site is the gift shop located in the Large Studio. The shop is operated on contract with the Division of Museums & Historic Sites, and is a primary source of revenue for the group. They are also contracted to operate the gift shop at T.C. Steele State Historic Site. All profits from gift shop sales are used at the site to support educational activities, programs and special projects, such as historic building and garden restoration.
